Africa's top 12 of the 20th Century

A panel of scholars and critics met at the Zimbabwe International Book Fair to name the top books of the 20th century form 1,500 nominations. The list is intended to publicize African writers and publishers and "heralds a new millennium for literacy throughout the entire African Continent," said Dr. Adotey Bing, one of the judges.
