First Lady Gets Peek at First Book
During their European visit, First Lady Barbara Bush and the President stopped in Mainz, Germany, home of Johannes Gutenberg, the man who developed the first printing press and printed the first book, known as the Gutenberg Bibles. Mrs. Bush requested a peek at the centuries old bible which is one of only six in the world. It was opened to her favorite passage in the bible, Psalm 91, reports the Dallas Morning News.
