Authors Team Up for Tsunami Book
Just published in the UK: New Beginnings, an anthology of work by 16 authors that will aid Tsunami Relief. Priced at £ 5 ($9.60) the book contains first chapters of forthcoming books by writers like Stephen King, Tracy Chevalier, Ian McEwan, Margaret Atwood, Vikram Seth and Scott Turow. "To glimpse the opening chapter of your favourite author's new work before it is published will be an unprecedented experience for their fans," said Jonny Geller, who directed the project for publisher Bloomsbury.
